Feedback from Folks Using Their Mental Wings!
Mental Wings is an excellent program that teaches and motivates you to truly become the person you want to be. It is clearly structured in seven easy-to-follow steps, and it is motivating to listen to Eric’s enthusiastic voice. The length of 80 minutes is just right and the information is presented clearly and concisely. The summarizing CD insert supports reviewing and thinking about the material. Everything that I have put into practice that Eric Hörst recommends has worked. Although I have been setting professional and personal goals for years, the program helped me to further improve my goals and refocus on the most important areas in my life. One of the key insights for me was to regularly review my activities and to align them with the top five goals by giving up low-value activities. Working through the Mental Wings program reinforced the focus on the main goals and it became easy to automatically recognize activities that were not aligned (and to give them up). I truly recommend this comprehensive program for anyone, no matter how successful you are already are.

The Mental Wings program was very beneficial. It fostered in me a desire to live a more compelling, generous, and reflective life—one in which thoughtful, powerful action resonates in every endeavor. The MW strategy of “becoming a practical non-conformist” was the single most profound and useful concept of the program. This idea has been stirring inside of me and, coupled with your Feed Forward Exercise, it has brought me to a whole new level of realization. Mental Wings—did I find it beneficial? Absolutely! Your delivery of information was concise, easy to grasp, and pleasant to listen to again and again. I commute about 45-minutes and often listen to different sections of the CD. Now that I have heard your voice, when I go to read your books, I hear your voice in my head as if you were reading the text to me. It's very cool! I found the following Mental Wings concept to be incredibly affirming in my life: "Uncommonly successful people do things that most people don't do." With the support of my husband, I quit my job as an advertising executive to study Pilates. Quitting my job was exciting and empowering, but difficult. My family and friends didn't understand what Pilates was, and the few things that had been affirming about my old career such as income and identity were gone. I made the decision to get in high gear with my new career. Because I knew the benefits of Pilates to people like myself, I decided to offer a Pilates class. Having never taught a class, I found the Mental Wings "feed forward" strategy very helpful in figuring out what steps I needed to take to successfully teach my class. I decided to go above and beyond what most people would do, and in every detail, I choose to be a "practical non-conformist." In addition, while preparing for my class I listened to your CD regularly and applied the MW strategies of visualization, positive self-talk, acting the part, and becoming a personal Spin Doctor. Thank you for your Mental Wings CD. It has been tremendously beneficial. I look forward to updating you in the future as I get closer to my Mega Goals.

Far from being another gimmicky program offering quick-fix solutions, Mental Wings provides sound, easy-to-understand and downright effective strategies for improving every single aspect of life. The true strength of the Mental Wings program lies in its simplicity. As you will learn from Mental Wings, the main difference between uncommonly successful people and the mediocre masses is simply that successful people realize that they can choose to be the captains of their own lives. Meanwhile, the masses mistakenly believe that they have no choice but to be passengers on the journey of life.

Hi Eric! I really enjoyed your Mental Wings program. I love it when you state that “everyone has the power!” You did a great job expanding on all the points you made and I feel all the information was useful. I was always taught to take charge of my life. Your concept of becoming a "practical non-conformist" is so terrific! Dear Eric. Your Mental Wings CD is very powerful and extremely helpful. The two parts that I enjoyed the most are the sections on Goal Setting (Step 2) and Building a Body for Success (Step 6). I have applied your Mental Wings strategies to several areas of my life, including enhancing sports activities, setting career goals, and improving the relationship with my wife. I appreciated the idea of setting my own personal mega goals and then having my wife do the same and see how they compare. This was a very interesting and rewarding experience for my wife and me, and it opened up a lot of communication regarding our personal and combined goals. Mental Wings has given me a push in the right direction. I have learned some great goal setting strategies, as well as many simple ways to live a more energetic, low-stress, fun, and happy life.
